This meeting took place following the conclusion of the 49ers' season, which ended in disappointment with a loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the divisional round of the playoffs on Saturday night. But here's where it gets controversial: Saleh is not just sitting back after this interview; he is also scheduled to have an in-person discussion with the Tennessee Titans on Monday, indicating that he is a highly sought-after candidate in multiple coaching searches.
On the same day, the Ravens also conducted an interview with Joe Brady, the offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills. Saleh and Brady are among a competitive list of candidates being considered by the Ravens, which includes notable names such as Chris Shula, the Rams' defensive coordinator, and Nate Scheelhaase, the Rams' passing game coordinator. Furthermore, other candidates include former Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel, Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter, Browns defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores, and former Commanders offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury. Interestingly, Kevin Stefanski was also in the mix for the Ravens’ head coaching position before he ultimately accepted an offer from the Atlanta Falcons.
